The Role

We’re looking for a highly competent Mid-Weight Interior Designer with luxury residential experience. Working as part of a small team, the Mid-Weight Interior Designer will support a range of projects at different stages of development. He/she will set up and produce complete drawing packages as well as oversee the work of more junior members and review manufacturer drawings to assess suitability. The Mid-Weight Designer will take an active lead in running projects; assisting with project installation, producing overall project schedules and co-ordinating consultant meetings.

The Right Candidate

You will be degree qualified in interior design or architecture, with at least 5 years post-graduate experience in the high-end residential sector. Having previously worked for another well-regarded design studio, you will be a confident all-rounder with a very strong bias towards technical skills. Under design direction, you must be able to produce complete design intent drawing packages with particular proficiency in drawing up suitable custom joinery and furniture. You will have a good knowledge of luxury finishes and materials and be able to represent an overall design concept. With strong organisational skills and the ability to work closely with internal and external teams, you take pride in what you do and deliver work to a very high standard. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and EstiPC are all a must for this role.
