We have an excellent opportunity for a creative Junior to Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join our client’s design team. He/she will work as part of a small team, supporting the Senior Designer and Creative Director through all stages of the project from concept development to client handover. The Junior to Mid-Weight Interior Designer will assist with client presentations as well as develop design concepts, drawing packages and prepare schedules of all the design information. As part of this role, the Junior to Mid-Weight Interior Designer will take responsibility for sourcing and procuring high-end FF&E, arts and antiques. This will include designing entirely bespoke furniture and lighting as well as customized pieces. He/she will also collaborate closely with the development management team on each project, attending site visits and liaising with contractors to help ensure quality and seamless delivery. The Right Candidate
You will be degree qualified in Interior Design, Furniture Design or similar with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on high-end residential projects. Confident in interpreting other people’s ideas and in liaising with suppliers, you will be proficient in sourcing and specifying all FF&E items, including antiques. With design flair and an eye for detail, you will be able to produce mood boards and presentations to a high standard. You will also be able to collate, organise and work on detailed drawing packages using AutoCAD, including drawing up bespoke furniture and lighting. This role best suits an organised and enthusiastic individual who will relish the opportunity to learn and develop their skills as a designer. IT literacy is key for this role so you must be competent in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and Excel.
