The Role

We are looking for a talented Senior Hotel Designer to work for our global architecture and interior design client. After successful completion of your 3 month probation period you will be promoted to Associate. Working collaboratively with the architects, you will lead the design team on multiple jobs, managing and delegating work amongst team members whilst being the day-to-day point of contact for clients and consultant team. The role will involve working alongside the Directors to write fees, attend conferences, speaking events, generally help to promote the company and win new business.

For this hands-on position the Senior/Associate Hotel Designer will be responsible for the resourcing of projects, inspiring creative and design led solutions and ensuring projects are delivered as programmed on budget. The Senior/Associate Hotel Designer will be leading their own projects, which may be UK-based or International, so there will be lots of exposure to large-scale, globally recognised projects.

The Right Candidate

You will be a bright, accomplished designer with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, with 10+ years of experience which includes working for another hotel design consultancy. You must have led your own projects and be familiar with hotel design across the world, including industry trends, but also be able to push the boundaries to best meet a client’s brief. You will need to be hands-on when it comes to AutoCAD and Photoshop and be comfortable working with architectural drawings. Your personality and design approach is as important as your skills for this studio; the successful candidate will have an energetic and creative mind, be innovative, commercial and an exceptional team player.
