The Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a creative, proactive and client confident Senior FF&E Designer with luxury residential experience to join our client’s design studio for an initial one year Maternity Cover contract. Working as part of a close-knit team, the Senior FF&E Designer will work on key client projects across all design phases, from concept through to procurement & install. Your role will involve translating interior design concepts into creative designs; researching and sourcing appropriate materials that reflect the both the client’s brief and the studio’s meticulous attention to detail. Working to agreed deadlines, the Senior FF&E Designer will also liaise with suppliers and contractors on a day-to-day basis to prepare, schedule and cost all FF&E specifications. This is a highly creative role working on prestigious residential projects in some of the most exclusive addresses. For the right candidate this role has the potential to continue permanently.

The Right Candidate
Degree qualified in Interior Design or similar, you will have 5+ years’ experience working on luxury residential projects from a reputable London-based studio. With natural propensity for FF&E, you will understand what is required to produce high-end interiors and be able to creatively communicate your ideas to clients with an exceptional level of detail. You will have a sound knowledge of suppliers which extends to artisans and craftspeople that produce bespoke pieces for luxury interiors. Thoughtful and conscientious in your approach, your creative designs will reflect the studio’s signature style as well as meet the client’s brief. Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint will be expected as well as experience producing fixture and finishes specification schedules.
